Bold structures, monochrome total looks and a hint of color are the basis of the powerful Yajun FW18 collection. Presented during the fifth day of New York Fashion Week at Spring Studios and styled by Matthew Mazur. Shapes and volumes are normalized by a stark use of black, supported by a masterful layering of transparencies over texturized textiles. The background music for the show, curated by Miho Hatori of Cibo Matto fame, is ethereal, guiding each step the models take on the catwalk.
The conceptual design and dark color scheme of Reschia shoes is the perfect complement for the collection, providing a solid foundation for strong, memorable looks. Reschia absolute favorite Rugged Boot in a selection of materials made the cut, along Rugged Zip and Shoe, setting the tone for the season to come. The Tangled Boot was a show-stopper, drawing attention to its intricate lace-up structure.
